"When you grow up surrounded by mountains, it's hard to imagine a world without snow or seasons," he says, shaking his head a little. He's glad to have made her laugh, even when the topic is something as decidedly morbid as his period of homelessness.
At least Finch has wrenched him out of that much in Darrow. He's no longer sleeping on the train and he officially has more than one suit to wear, which he imagines is a step up.
