"No, but I stopped them," he says, then is quiet for a moment before deciding there's really no harm in pushing forward. "I don't like to have to resort to killing anyone. If I can avoid it, I will. It's why I shot her in the knee first. Damaging the kneecap like that is particularly painful and it's usually more than enough to stop someone from whatever it is they're trying to do."
