"Oh, nothing that exciting," Eden says, letting out a little laugh. It does sound like he's had an exciting time of it, and she finds herself curious about just what kind of trouble he got himself into that led him down that path. She had a similar choice herself, caught in the midst of a crime, though it wasn't offered by any actual law enforcement services. The Company would have been happy to lock her away and experiment on her if she hadn't cooperated and become an agent for them. It wasn't much of a choice.
