"Not...all of them made it through," Dutch admits, thinking of Tommy for a brief moment. They hadn't known each other that well but Dutch had liked what she'd known of him and hearing that he was dead and hadn't just been able to go back home had been hard to deal with.

"I just hope he wasn't in any pain when it happened," she says, sighing heavily. "He was a good guy, big and strong and a little dopey, and it shouldn't have happened to him. So, I just hope it didn't hurt."
