"Oh, him," Dutch says, waving a hand. "I fight my own battles but it's cute that you're worried about him. If he even tried to defend me, I'd break his nose. He'd try and I'd be momentarily touched but then I'd break his nose before I broke the nose of whoever caused him to want to defend me in the first place."

So, John doesn't need to worry about that. She reaches over and pats his hand, amused and delighted that he thinks she might need someone to step in and fight her battles.

"Worry about my wrath," she tells him, a laugh in her voice, "and not his."
