John slips forward quietly, knowing Dutch will be right there with him. It's easy working with her, seamless in a way he hasn't had in awhile, and he's lucky in that regard. He's not an easy man to read, but with the right partner, things tend to just go the way they're supposed to and he knows he can rely on Dutch.
He reaches the door just before it closes, slides his fingers around it and holds it open just a crack. There are voices from inside, the two men from the restaurant, and then he catches the sound of crying. A woman. She's not asking for anything, she's not even particularly loud, but she can't be there be choice.
Looking back at Dutch, John nods just once, then pulls open the door and heads inside.
