"Perfect," Peggy says, with a determined nod, having been unwilling to take any other answer than the one they've landed on. "Daniel will be more than happy to have you over, but I do hope that neither of you will mind if I don't cook," she says. "Fair warning, it would be quite terrible if I attempted it," she can assure, thinking it's better for everyone in the event that they order in.

"Maybe once we put our heads together, we'll think of something," she adds, still willing to be optimistic.
